I specialize in Substance abuse, dual diagnosis treatment, and EMDR therapy. I seek to be flexible in my treatment methods, and can also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing in an overall eclectic approach to treatment.

I seek to provide empathetic support throughout your recovery process, and I understand that the recovery process from substance abuse can be incredibly difficult at times. Life changes and transitions can be particularly challenging, and I assist my clients in finding practical solutions to address the challenging situations and the life circumstances they encounter.

I have an MSW from Saint Leo University (2015) and 4 years of clinical experience working almost exclusively with substance abuse and dual diagnosis.

Call today to begin the healing process.

There are many reasons why a person may seek therapy. Sometimes we are struggling in a crisis, and sometimes we are ready to go deeper into our understanding of ourselves. With this understanding, we can create a life enriched by the healthiest, most insightful version of ourselves. The shifting of habits, fears and core beliefs is a brave act that deserves therapeutic support. In treatment my clients are able to build on their inherent strengths to heal, to grow and to ground.

My first career was in the arts, and in the grand adventure of my prior life I learned how to connect with others with curiosity and without judgement. Using a variety of interventions that are dependent on the interests and strengths of my clients, I co-create a treatment plan with their unique needs in mind.

I understand that change can be hard, and that sometimes not changing can be harder. Whatever direction you're heading in life, consider that we work together so that I can lend my education and skill to your extraordinary journey.

With over 35 years in the trenches of marriage, raising a large family, and working, I have a vast array of experience in almost every age and every stage of life. From toddlers to teenagers, young adults to aging parents, I understand that life can be hard, relationships can be painful, and stress can be overwhelming. Sometimes all we need is for someone to be our “bridge over troubled water.” I will be that bridge for you.

As you choose to take a realistic look at where you’ve been, where you are now, and where you want to be, you can begin making the changes, one day at a time, that will take you closer to realizing your full potential. I will be on your side helping you discover all the ways you were meant to shine. Together we can make peace with your past, find joy in the present, and bring clarity to your future. Hope and healing are at the heart of what I do.
