You don’t have to try to figure it all out on your own. While therapy isn’t about “fixing” you (spoiler alert: you’re not broken), it can help you develop tools, skills, self-awareness, and thought processes that can help you move from where you are to where you want to be. With over 10 years of clinical experience, I work with adults who are committed to making positive changes in their lives. I treat a wide range of concerns, and specialize in substance abuse, trauma, grief and loss, relationships, improving self-esteem, and anxiety. I welcome and affirm LGBTQ+ clients.
My style is interactive and informal. I feel it is important that sessions be comfortable and welcoming. I tend to approach life with humor, and bring that into my counseling style. I take a collaborative approach to therapy, starting with where the client is and facilitating movement towards client-centered goals.
