Do you feel like you are on a roller coaster? The past few years have been tough. Sometimes we notice that our appetite has changed, our level of energy has changed, we feel out of sorts. Sometimes we feel like focus is just out of grasp and a feeling of impending doom. It feels like nothing is going our way. Other individuals just want to refocusing on themselves and grow or are going through life changes. Whatever your reason, seeking out therapeutic services can assist with all of the above and more.
Maybe you have noticed your adolescent child has been more anxious or withdrawn lately, you’ve worried about how they are connecting with others or maybe you have noticed that they are self-injuring. I have experience working with adolescents that struggle in these areas, and I may be a good fit for your youth. Maybe you as a parent want some support in how to navigate this hard time, I may also be able to assist you.
My focus is in treating trauma, anxiety, impulsivity, and depression. I work with adults and adolescents. I feel it is important to meet everyone with where they are at and do my best to tailor my approach to fit their needs, therapy is a collaboration. I am trained in EMDR and I use a DBT informed approach. I also use approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, solution focused therapy, and person-centered approaches. I’ve been licensed to practice as a clinical psychologist since 2017.
