Recognized for creating a warm and comforting therapeutic environment, I have a passion for providing emotional support to adult individuals during challenging seasons of life. Areas of focus include depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, boundaries, stress management, life transitions, chronic illness, caregiver support, and grief/loss. No one should have to face these circumstances on their own. I meet clients where they are using a person-centered, strengths-based approach to help individuals recognize their full potential and achieve self-identified goals at their own pace.
Understanding that there is no one-size-fits-all treatment method, I use a combination of modalities including CBT, ACT, and aspects of DBT such as mindfulness and emotion regulation. I am also in the process of becoming trained in EMDR and am always looking for ways to expand my therapy toolbox in order to more effectively meet my clients' needs.
