Jonathan Seng, MSW
I've previously worked with adults struggling with addiction to substances and alcohol. I've also worked with emerging and young adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, sexual orientation, gender identity, relationships among many other issues.
Not every therapeutic approach works for every person. We will find what fits best for you and your situation. It all starts with the first appointment—a conversation which allows us to get to know each other. You can share what your goal for therapy might be, I can explain more specifically what I can do, and we can both decide together about the plan. Our work includes understanding what makes you think or act the way you do. Through this process, we’ll explore what emotions you might be feeling without the pressure of trying to name them immediately and later practice action-oriented strategies to help meet those goals.
I have personal experiences within LGBTQ+ and AAPI communities for whom the cultural connections matter. If you live anywhere in Virginia and are searching for a queer POC telehealth therapist who has experience working with diverse populations, then let's get started by the scheduling link on this page!
